Cocaine seized in Colombian banana package

Colombian authorities have seized 6.67kg (14.7lbs) of cocaine hidden in a package of bananas, website Eltiempo.com reported. 
The story reported a 39-year-old man was caught with the drugs while travelling from the municipality of Cimitarra to Landázuri in the department of Santander, in the country's north-central region.
The detainee was taken to the Cimitarra Prosecutor's Office for the crime of trafficking, manufacturing and possession of drugs, which had a value of around COP18 million (US$10.2 million).
The story reported 179 people have been caught for the crime in Santander this year alone.
