Russia steps up Ukrainian bans with juice blockade
Just days after a ban on canned Ukrainian fruits, vegetables and fish, Russian authorities have announced a blockade of juices from its embattled neighbor. 
The country's Federal Service for Supervision of Consumer Rights Protection and Human Well-Being (Rospotrebnadzor) again cited labeling concerns as behind the ban, which also includes baby food.
As the West raises economic sanctions on Russia, the Kremlin has responded on many fronts in the agricultural sector, including banning many fruits and vegetables from Poland and Moldova.
The ITAR-TASS News Agency reports Russia is also looking to ban imports of Ukrainian sunflowers and soybeans.
In June, Russia's Federal Service for Veterinary and Phytosanitary Surveillance (Rosselkhoznadzor) issued a temporary ban on Ukrainian potatoes, citing cyst nematode Globodera rostochiensis as the cause behind the restrictions.
