The deal will expand the companies’ commercial and logistic platform to bring avocados, grapes, citrus fruits, blueberries and pomegranates to a wider customer base.
Operations will run through a new company, Agricom Camposol Fresh, headquartered in The Netherlands.
Agricom chairman Rodrigo Barros Tocornal applauded the partnership as a path to become a top European supermarket supplier.
“We are very proud to sign this agreement, because it will allow a joint consolidation of both companies in Europe, increasing the exportable supply from both countries,” Barros said.
“Additionally, it opens the door for technical knowledge exchange and the positioning of the brands in a competitive growing market.”
Camposol Executive Chairman Samuel Dyer Coriat described the deal as a way to bring two natural competitors together as a stronger, unified force.
