Apples

In Latin America, a transport strike affected the market in Colombia, while sales continued to be moderate in Brazil with stable prices.

In Europe, the supply of foreign apples decreased and sales activity was moderate for all varieties. In Russia, Southern Hemisphere red varieties had finished for the season, while there were still Granny Smith lots for sale but with limited volumes.

Avocados

In North America, the market was stable in the U.S.

In Europe, the market was agile with firm prices. In the U.K., sales were moderate because of summer school vacations.

Kiwifruit

In North America, prices rose for Chilean supply in the U.S.

In Latin America, sales activity decreased in Colombia due to the transport strike. In Brazil, greater movement and firm prices were observed.

In Europe, the market was agile with minor increases in Chilean Hayward prices.

In Asia, there was a low supply of Chilean kiwifruit in Chinese markets.
