Sustainable snacking for kids: Superfresh Growers unveils expanded organic line featuring the cuteness-overload of the Orchard Buddies

After a wave of excitement surrounding the Orchard Buddies packaging launch in 2024, Superfresh Growers is expanding the line.

Originally featuring Organic Gala and Fuji three-pound pouch bags, the Orchard Buddies collection now includes two and three-pound organic apple and pear pouch bags, as well as a three-pound organic apple poly bag.

This expansion allows retailers to build a complete organic apple and pear bag display featuring Orchard Buddies packaging. Each new bag features a unique orchard scene specific to the variety, incorporating your favorite furry and feathered friends.

Meet Superfresh's Orchard Buddies

The Orchard Buddies initiative began in 2024, when the Superfresh team set out on a mission to make organic apples more appealing to children and share their commitment to sustainability.

By weaving stories about nature and environmental stewardship into the brand, Superfresh aims to connect with families on a deeper level. Parents can feel good about providing their children with healthy, organic snacks, while kids can learn about the importance of protecting the environment and their role in sustaining it.

These pouch bags are made from 100% LDPE (Low-Density Polyethylene), making them recyclable at store drop-off locations and anywhere that accepts film recycling.

Visitors to the Superfresh Growers booth (#3269) at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show can learn all about the Orchard Buddies’ adventures. The booth will feature the second edition of the Orchard Buddies kids’ book series, The Orchard Buddies and the Newest Helper, along with the new packaging on display.
