Muzzi Family Farms brings two decades of leafy greens expertise under its own brands
After nearly 20 years of producing and packing leafy greens and fresh-cut vegetables through its ownership in The Salad Farm, Muzzi Family Farms is bringing those products directly to market under its own brands.
The expansion gives foodservice and retail customers a broader selection of organic and conventional products while simplifying purchasing through a single, trusted supplier.
Muzzi Family Farms' offer is expanding
New products, all domestically sourced, include conventional romaine hearts, iceberg lettuce, romaine lettuce, green leaf lettuce, and bunched spinach as well as processed, value-added items such as clamshell packs, chopped romaine, shredded lettuce, coleslaw and broccoli florets.
These organic and conventional products are being sold under three longstanding and respected house brands: Muzzi Family Farms, Dominic’s and Lisa Mia.

Existing customers now have access to an expanded lineup of commodity and value-added produce from a trusted partner they already know. Customers purchasing these products through The Salad Farm will experience a seamless transition while gaining the benefit of working directly with the company that has been processing, packing, and shipping these products all along.
"This isn't about introducing something new to our operation—it's about bringing over 50 years of experience directly to our customers," said Dominic Muzzi Jr., partner at Muzzi Family Farms and a founding member of The Salad Farm.
"We've been growing, processing and packing these products for decades. Now customers can work directly with the team behind that operation while gaining access to an even broader portfolio from one trusted source. It's the next evolution of our business, built on the same commitment to quality, food safety, and personal service that has always defined the company."

By bringing production, sales, and customer support together under one organization, the firm streamlines the customer experience while maintaining the consistent quality, food safety standards, and dependable service that have defined the family-owned and operated business since its inception. Combined with processing and shipping operations in both Salinas, California, and Yuma, Arizona, the company is well positioned to provide reliable, year-round supply.
