The Giumarra Companies appoints industry veteran Rodrigo Torres to lead East Coast berry sales

The Giumarra Companies is pleased to announce the appointment of industry veteran Rodrigo Torres as Sales Director for its Giumarra International Berry East Coast operation. In this role, Torres will lead sales strategy and customer development initiatives across the U.S. East Coast, as well as help expand the company’s portfolio to drive growth opportunities with partners and customers.

“As we continue to accelerate our business and strengthen our position across key markets, Rodrigo brings the leadership and industry expertise needed to drive our East Coast growth strategy,” said Sebastian Carmona, Vice President, International Development at the company. “His deep relationships throughout the industry and proven ability to deliver results across the produce supply chain make him an excellent addition to our team.”

Giumarra welcomes two decades of fresh expertise

Torres brings more than 20 years of extensive experience in the produce industry, having held sales leadership roles with Altar Produce, Campos Borquez, Naturipe Farms, and Chiquita, among others. Additionally, he completed Cornell University’s Executive Development Leadership Program and serves as a volunteer council member with the International Fresh Produce Association (IFPA).
