Northern Hemisphere market report for Week 17 (ending April 25)

Apples

Exports of bi-colored Chilean apples were higher year-on-year to date, across the Far East, the U.S. and Europe. 300x300_logo_2

Kiwifruit

The supply of Chilean kiwifruit increased slightly in different destination markets, but it was still difficult to establish a trend in sales prices.

Pears

To date, the total volume of Chilean pears received in Europe was lower year-on-year.

Stonefruit

Prices for Chilean plums continued to be relatively stable compared to the previous week, while supply progressively continued to be drop.

Table Grapes

In general, a higher volume of Chilean fruit arrived in destination markets this week, with the exception of Europe where arrivals of white seedless grapes fell. Demand was stable and prices varied depending on the country and the variety.
