Catalytic Generators showcases its advanced ripening solutions at Fruit Attraction and IFPA

Ethylene ripening specialists Catalytic Generators continue to strengthen its global presence with back-to-back participation at Fruit Attraction in Madrid, followed by the company's presence at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show in Anaheim, California, between October 16 and 18.

At Fruit Attraction 2025, the company showcased its Easy-Ripe® generators and Ethy-Gen® II concentrate to a diverse international audience, which confirmed growing recognition of the company’s unique approach.

“We were able to advance ourselves in the minds of many prospects, who are giving us the opportunity to show how our ethylene application systems are superior to other methods," said President & CEO Greg Akins. "We have invested a large amount of time and money toward EU approvals, so now’s the time to start helping EU ripeners with better ethylene.”

The growing scale of the show stood out to the executive, who highlighted the numerous opportunities the company had to meet with potential clients and other industry actors ready to learn more about the use of ethylene for fruit ripening. 

Catalytic Generators' next stop: IFPA

With Fruit Attraction complete, Catalytic Generators now turns to the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show, where it has exhibited for more than four decades. The event, according to the company, provides a valuable opportunity to connect with both established and new customers worldwide.

“Connecting with our large North American base of customers is very important,” Akins explained. "We understand the value of the exposure it brings to our products, so reinforcing our brand and reconnecting with customers is the main focus.”
