Honeybear's First Kiss is officially kickstarting apple season

There's still a bit of summer left, but Honeybear Brands is already welcoming apple season, as its early variety, First Kiss, hits the shelves.

Born and grown in Minnesota, First Kiss is a descendant of the beloved and renowned Honeycrisp, and is characterized by a sweet and tart flavor profile, a firm bite, red skin, and bright white flesh.

Honeybear Brands will start shipping First Kiss bright and juicy varieties from its Midwest facilities in mid-August. The company says shelves will be well-stocked with the variety this season, thanks to its growing fan base.

“Shoppers await the beginning of fall apple season, and First Kiss is a welcome sight on store shelves,” says Chuck Sinks, president of sales, Honeybear Brands. “There’s a lot of love for a First Kiss apple, but like every first kiss, it’s fleeting, so enjoy them while you can.”
