The stage is set for Asia Fruit Logistica's China Meet Up

China Meet Up, the official China-focused extension of Asia Fruit Logistica, will welcome even broader global participation for its second edition, taking place in Guangzhou on 8 and 9 September at the Haizhu International Convention & Exhibition Center.

With 63 exhibitors registered from China, Thailand, Malaysia, the UAE, Peru, and Ecuador, China Meet Up will bring together an impressive range of international fresh produce players. International participation continues to grow, with leading exporters and industry groups such as PromPerĆŗ, Corpei, Palora, Jorcorp, and FLP Ecuador representing Latin America’s expanding footprint in the Chinese market.

Curated by Knowledge Partner Asiafruit China, the two-day content program brings together a high-powered line-up of experts from top global fruit companies as well as government and industry organizations. 

Among others, speakers include: 

  • Yang Peng, product director of Joy Wing Mau Group
  • Zhou Zheng, partner of Baker McKenzie FenXun
  • Wu Weihua, deputy director of the Guangzhou Municipal Commerce Bureau
  • Bernardo MuƱoz, commercial counsellor of the Peruvian consulate in Shanghai

China Meet Up will attract its most diverse international audience yet, building on the first edition, which drew more than 1,600 high-level industry professionals. Visitors are registered from over 30 countries and regions, including Australia, Bangladesh, Belgium, Brazil, Chile, Greater China (mainland China, Hong Kong, and Taiwan), the Dominican Republic, Ecuador, Egypt, Ghana, India, Indonesia, Israel, Italy, Japan, Kenya, Malaysia, Mexico, the Netherlands, Nigeria, Pakistan, Peru, the Philippines, Qatar, Senegal, Singapore, South Africa, Thailand and Vietnam.  

Premium Buyer program

To deliver even more value for professional buyers, China Meet Up has launched the Premium Buyer program this year. The initiative offers a range of exclusive benefits and customized services to create efficient business matchmaking and expand networks. 

The Premium Buyer Pass includes two-day access to the China Meet Up, a night’s hotel accommodation, and a VIP invitation to the China Meet Up Dinner Reception on 8 September, gathering over 400 global fresh produce delegates and executives.
