Oppy and Blue Diamond partner to redefine healthy snacking at IFPA

Leading fresh produce grower, marketer, and distributor Oppy is teaming up with Blue Diamond Growers to showcase their premium line of almonds and almond-fruit blends at the IFPA Global Produce & Floral Show. Together, the companies are redefining what healthy snacking looks like on the fresh aisle perimeter.

Since launching their partnership one year ago, Oppy and Blue Diamond have introduced a protein-powered lineup of almond products, including Oven Roasted Honey, Lightly Salted, and Toasted Almonds & Cherries. Each variety is packaged in resealable stand-up bags with clean and bold branding, delivering convenience and appeal to health-conscious shoppers while driving strong performance in the produce category.

ā€œWhen Blue Diamond enters the basket, the results speak for themselves—the average basket ring doubles,ā€ said Oppy’s Executive Vice President of Sales Brett Libke. ā€œRetailers are seeing strong momentum, and the excitement continues to build as shoppers reach for better-for-you snacks that truly deliver.ā€

Oppy and Blue Diamond bet on consumers’ wellness

To further boost engagement, participating retailers can take part in a national sweepstakes campaign offering shoppers the chance to win fitness trackers and athletic gift cards through November 15 at bdfitnesssweeps.com.

The promotion aligns with data showing that 60 percent of shoppers focus on healthy eating habits in the fall.

Come say hi at IFPA!

At IFPA, attendees are invited to stop by Oppy’s booth (#1039) to sample almonds and enter an exclusive onsite giveaway for an Apple Watch. 

Attendees will also sneak peek of Blue Diamond’s refreshed branding, featuring bold colors and crisp lines designed to resonate with today’s health-minded consumer. The produce line will officially debut the new look in spring 2026.

Oppy’s house of brands is also open to visitors. They include Blue Diamond, Envy, Zespri, Avoworks, Eco Farms, Dole, Sun Grape, Ocean Spray, Divemex, Frank & Able, OriginO, Perpetual Vegetable Co., UP Vertical Farms, and beyond.
