Nature’s Produce invests in a new ripening center in Poland
Nature's Produce, a distributor and importer of fresh fruits for the Polish market and now a partner of Dole, will open a new state-of-the-art distribution and ripening center in Ostrowiec, central Poland.
The Nature's Produce's new Central Distribution and Ripening Center operations are expected to begin in September 2026. The complex will focus mainly on improving the quality and shelf life of avocados, mangoes, and other “ready-to-eat” exotic fruits—produce that the company is already a leading supplier of in the country.

It will feature 16 modern ripening rooms, with space reserved for an additional 10 rooms, and integrate top sustainable technologies, including heat and rainwater recovery systems, photovoltaic installations, and a green roof.
Process optimization and global reach
Nature’s Produce looks to continue optimizing its operations and processes by building the center. Its goal is to offer perfectly ripened fruits tailored to Polish consumer preferences.
Leveraging Dole’s global reach, production, and vertically integrated supply chain, the Central Distribution and Ripening Center will also serve as a platform to introduce and develop a broad range of products and categories in the Polish market.
Additionally, it will create new and exciting opportunities for the growth of the Dole brand in Poland, alongside the already established “Ready to eat” and “Ready for exotics” brands, which Nature’s Produce currently operates across a wide variety of supermarket chains in the country.
