Fresh All Green anticipates strong Egyptian strawberry season

Egyptian grower and exporter Fresh All Green says the upcoming strawberry season is shaping up to be a successful one, with solid fruit volumes, strong fruit quality, and robust exports.

Chairman Hussein Hassan stated that Fresh All Green's strawberries are shaping up to be of excellent quality, with even color and firmness this season, and are projected to hit the shelves of two new markets.

"This is exactly what our international clients expect from us,” said Hassan. "We already have long-term partnerships with retailers in the UK, Germany and South Africa. We see our clients as partners in growth. Now we want to replicate that model in Africa and Asia."

Fresh All Green also plans to expand its cold-storage capacity to support the growth and invest in digital tools to enhance traceability and food safety management.

Hassan said Fresh All Green has been working to “deliver excellence in every single aspect of the business,” and emphasized the company’s commitment to sustainability through the expansion.

This season’s strawberries will come in new eco-friendly packaging, created in collaboration with a Spanish customer, and the berry company says it will continue to work with international breeders to create new varieties that require fewer natural resources.

In addition to strawberries, Fresh All Green’s portfolio includes grapes, blueberries, and frozen strawberries.
