BlueTree Technologies and PCI Membranes partner up to deliver scalable sugar reduction innovation for the beverage industry

Food tech company BlueTree Technologies and global leader in tubular membrane filtration systems PCI Membranes (a Filtration Group brand), are joining forces to provide beverage manufacturers with a scalable, proven, high-performance solution for producing natural beverages with reduced sugar and lower carbohydrate or calorie content. 

The joint solution integrates PCI Membranes’ proven polymeric membrane technologies into BlueTree Technologies’ proprietary sugar reduction platform, resulting in a breakthrough approach to reducing sugar content without compromising taste or requiring additives.

The collaboration, secured by mutual exclusivity agreements, will see PCI Membranes supply its components exclusively to BlueTree for sugar reduction processes, while BlueTree commits to using PCI Membranes as its sole provider. This ensures consistent performance, product quality, and a defensible competitive edge. The FDA-approved solution further supports the development of safe, clean-label beverages at scale.
