Kapi Kapi Growers new sustainability report focused on environmental, social, and governance

Kapi Kapi Growers, a leading global supplier of sustainably grown pineapples, bananas, and plantains, has released its first sustainability report.

The 80-page report outlines clear objectives, goals, and metrics to strengthen the company’s commitment to environmental, social, and governance (ESG) priorities that benefit the communities and environments where it operates.

Kapi Kapi's report says the brand's 2025–2030 ESG strategy is informed by stakeholder input and diagnostic analysis. Key metrics track and aim to reduce the company’s water consumption, greenhouse gas emissions, and improve training, learning, and compliance.
 

Kapi Kapi bets on sustainable tropicals

In a statement about the release, Sofia Acon, President of Kapi Kapi Growers, expressed her excitement to share their ESG efforts using Global Reporting Initiative (GRI) metrics.
