Moonlight Companies adds Courtney Hernandez to sales team
Moonlight Companies has added Courtney Hernandez to its sales team, bringing an experienced retail sales leader to support the company’s stone fruit and winter citrus programs while strengthening retail customer relationships.
In her new role, Hernandez will help guide retail sales strategy and ensure customers receive responsive, knowledgeable support throughout the seasons. She will work closely with the company's farming, packing and operations teams to help customers make the most of the company’s seven-month stone fruit program, which includes peaches, nectarines, plums, pluots and apricots grown across key West Coast regions.
“Courtney understands what retail customers need from a supplier: consistency, follow-through, honest communication and a partner who is focused on helping them succeed,” said Ben Vived, CMO of Moonlight Companies. “Her experience in fresh produce sales and strategic retail account planning makes her a strong fit for the firm as we continue strengthening our customer programs.”

Hernandez brings more than a decade of fresh produce sales experience to Moonlight, with a background that includes retail account planning, customer service, and marketing support. Her knowledge of stone fruit and experience developing strong retail programs will augment the firm's continued efforts to deliver premium, flavorful fruit with the consistency, service, and strategic leadership retail partners expect.
“Joining an industry leader like Moonlight, with its unmatched scale, commitment to quality, and ability to support retailers across such a long season, is an exciting opportunity. I'm looking forward to helping our customers grow their business while delivering the exceptional fruit and service the company is known for,” Hernandez added.
Moonlight year-round sourcing
Moonlight’s fruit program is built around geographic diversity, vertical integration, and disciplined variety selection. With growing regions that span from Coachella Valley through Central California and into Washington State, the company can support retailers across a long seasonal window, including its seven-month stone fruit program and complementary winter citrus program.
Its “Seven Months of Summer” platform reflects the company's commitment to helping retailers build momentum early, maintain consumer excitement, and create opportunities for category growth throughout the stone fruit season.
Successful fruit programs require planning, timing, communication, and category knowledge across changing seasons, regions, and commodities. Hernandez’s addition strengthens Moonlight’s ability to help customers navigate that complexity and build strong programs from the first stone fruit of spring through the winter citrus season.
