Jack Aartsen will step down as CEO of Aartsen
Effective 1 January 2027, Jack Aartsen will step down as CEO of Aartsen and hand over day-to-day management to Menno van Breemen, who will move from his current position as CCO to become CEO.
Together with COO Jasper van der Sandt and CFO Marcel Hendriks, Menno van Breemen will form the firm's executive board.

Although Jack is stepping down from day-to-day management, he will remain closely involved in the family business. He will take on the role of non-executive director and, together with his sons Gijs and Freek, who both already work at the company, will retain the majority stake in the company. With Menno van Breemen and Jasper van der Sandt also serving as shareholders, the family, management, and shareholders will remain closely connected during this new phase.
A new era for Aartsen
The management change is therefore not a farewell, but a carefully planned transition. For Jack, who represents the fourth generation to lead the family business, this marks a significant step. The decision was made in close consultation with his family and the management team. Together, they believe this is the right time to move forward with the right people in place, ensuring the firm's future and continuity.

Aartsen is much more than a surname. It is more than just a name on the building. Aartsen represents who we are, our values, our sense of responsibility, and, above all, our mindset.
With this confidence, Jack is entrusting the company's future to his colleagues, the management team, and the new CEO, Menno van Breemen. He is confident that they will continue doing what the company has always done: continuously improving, innovating, and moving forward.
Because regardless of your surname, Aartsen is and always will be Aartsen.
