U.S. allows Mexican sweet lime imports

Mexico can export sweet limes to the U.S., the U.S. government announced.

The fruit must be irradiated and inspected for pests and fungus before entry, according to a statement from the Animal and Plant Health Inspection Service. The sweet limes are available only for commercial consignment and must have a certificate of inspection.
