Ocean Mist Farms has announced a partnership with Harry & David to offer long-stem artichoke gift packs during the holiday season.

Harry & David is a gourmet gift company in the U.S. that will now send orders of artichoke gift packs, each containing four long-stem artichokes, for $29.99.

"Over the years, shoppers have increasingly asked where they can find long-stem artichokes," said senior director of marketing at Ocean Mist Farms Diana McClean.

"Because not all retailers carry long-stem artichokes, our partnership with Harry & David is a great way for us to make this item easily accessible during the holiday season when we see interest spike."

The company states that this is one of the ongoing marketing initiatives the company has to educate consumers on artichokes.

Shoppers can purchase Harry & David artichoke gift pack online both on their website and Ocean Mist's website.

Ocean Mist Farms is a fourth-generation family business and the largest grower of fresh artichokes in North America.

The company’s full line of over 30 fresh vegetables includes the award-winning Season & Steam and Ocean Mist Organic product lines. 

In October the company announced new packaging for its organic artichokes.
