Natural Delights reports sales boost after nationwide media blitz
Medjool dates producer and retailer Natural Delights ended its year on a high note after an extensive media campaign, the company shared in a release.
Marketing efforts included over 5,900 broadcast segments across all 50 states, including Alaska and Hawaii, as well as all major media markets. According to the company, the campaign generated over 4.5 billion impressions and an advertising value of more than $41.3 million for the brand and its retail partners.
David Baxter, vice president of sales and marketing, told FreshfruitPortal.com the multi-format campaign required “year-round coordination.” However, all that effort paid off, as it contributed to a 23% increase in retail sales, and a 147% year-on-year growth in organic sales, according to Circana data.

“We saw strong results thanks to our partnerships with registered dietitians and media, who helped communicate the many ways dates can be enjoyed to meet today’s consumer demands,” Baxter added.
The executive said the company remains committed to growing its organic product line, a priority “driven by evolving shopper preferences.”
