Fresh Del Monte Produce is now Del Monte Corporation

Following its partial acquisition of Del Monte Foods, Fresh Del Monte Produce changed its name to Del Monte Corporation. In a press release, the firm also announced that starting June 29, it will change its New York Stock Exchange ticker symbol from “FDP” to “DMC.”

The company explained that the transition to Del Monte Corporation reflects its expanded role as the global owner of the Del Monte brand, subject to existing licensing arrangements.

“It also supports the company’s long-term vision to unlock the full potential of one of the world’s most recognized food brands through a more unified global strategy while expanding opportunities for innovation, brand extension, and long-term growth across a broader global platform,” the document read.
