Fresh Del Monte reports 4% sales increase in Q2 2025
Global fresh produce grower and distributor Fresh Del Monte shared its earnings report for Q2 2025. The company reported net sales of $1,182.5 million, a nearly 4% increase compared to the same period last year, when the brand reported $1,139.7 million in sales.
According to the press release published on the company's website, the boost is driven by continued demand for the company’s core products (including bananas, melons, honeydews, and avocados), and growth in its fresh-cut produce segment (Gold Extra Sweet Pineapples, melons, grapes, citrus, mangos, and kiwis).
The report states that the $43 million increase was also fueled by higher per-unit prices in the fresh and value-added product categories, as well as favorable exchange rate fluctuations, primarily in the Euro, the Japanese yen, and the British pound. The number also reflects tariff-related price adjustments.
Del Monte's growth in net sales also drove an increase in the company's gross profit, reaching $56.8 million compared to $53.6 million in 2024.
