Poly-clip System showcases its scalable, sustainable packaging solutions at Interpack 2026

German packaging and closure technology company Poly-clip System will showcase its solutions at Interpack, one of the leading global packaging exhibitions, in Düsseldorf.

At Interpack, the company will showcase its flexible, efficient, and scalable packaging solutions, emphasizing cross-industry expertise and sustainability. It will demonstrate the versatility of its technologies across sectors, including meat, dairy, pet food, convenience foods, fruit, vegetables, and industrial applications such as adhesives and sealants.

In a press release announcing its Interpack attendance, Poly-clip System states that its clip packaging is proving effective in both food and non-food sectors, and while it’s already established in meat and sausage products, the benefits can be extended to additional applications.

Less packaging, more responsibility

Poly-clip System operates under the motto “The packaging company with less packaging,” prioritizing efficiency and innovative clip packaging solutions.

Compared to traditional packaging such as cans, thermoformed trays, or cartridges, clip solutions can reduce material use to as little as 1–2 percent of the total product. CO₂ emissions may also be reduced by up to 90 percent, depending on the application, the company states.

“For us, sustainability is not an added benefit, but part of the system concept,” Alexander Giehl, CEO at Poly-clip System, says. “Our solutions intervene in processes: they save material, reduce weight, optimise logistics, and make a measurable contribution to CO₂ reduction along the entire value chain.”

Scalable machine solutions for companies of all sizes

At Interpack, Poly-clip System will demonstrate how it supports businesses of all sizes in their growth.

With over 60 machine models spanning all price points and automation levels, Poly-clip System offers solutions for small businesses and large industrial operations alike.

Visitors can explore machines across performance segments, including the company’s compact SCH 600 for smaller businesses, the flexible PDC-A 700, and the highly automated FCA 160 XL, which efficiently processes large production volumes in two- and four-clip operation.

Technology that optimizes processes

Alongside sustainability, process integration is essential. Clip packaging enables high cycle rates, automation, and space-efficient logistics.

Reduced packaging weight lowers transport costs and improves warehouse utilization, providing economic advantages that are increasingly important, especially in international markets.

“We want to use our technologies across industries, efficiently, resource-conserving, and with a noticeable impact,” adds Mesut Akbulut, CSO at Poly-clip System. “That is our understanding of our future-oriented packaging.”

The company states that its participation at Interpack highlights Poly-clip System's evolution from a specialist in individual packaging solutions to a flexible partner for industries seeking efficient, resource-sustainable technologies.
