London gears up for Global Grape Summit tomorrow

The final preparations are currently underway for the first-ever Global Grape Summit, which will take place tomorrow in conjunction with the London Produce Show and Conference.

The co-organizers, Produce Business magazine and Yentzen Group, have worked hard over the last year to put on an event that promises to mark a watershed moment in the table grape industry, establishing a unique global meeting point where industry leaders can come together to share ideas about how to move forward in this rapidly evolving sector.

The Global Grape Summit will kick off at the luxurious Grosvenor House Hotel by Marriott in Mayfair on June 5, with a stellar line-up of speakers and educational sessions set to dazzle the hundreds of attendees due to attend.

The one-day, commercially focused event will address the biggest challenges and opportunities facing the table grape industry, facilitating much-needed dialogue and collaboration at a time when the industry is at an inflection point amid a myriad of significant changes taking places in numerous areas of the business.

Topics it will look at include international marketing, the latest trends in supply and retail, varietal development and other matters of relevance to the sector. It will also look at industry innovation and include a special section on the UK market featuring representatives of leading British supermarket chains to inform attendees about the latest developments in one of the world’s leading export destinations.

“The Global Grape Summit promises to quickly become the single most important event on the table grape industry’s calendar,” said Jim Prevor. “An incredible day of top-quality educational sessions will provide attendees with the insights and knowledge they need to ensure success in this dynamic and exciting industry.”

“We have an absolutely fantastic lineup of expert speakers and panelists for the inaugural Global Grape Summit,” said Gustavo Yentzen, General Manager of Yentzen Group. “This event will be a unique meeting point for the table grape industry to come together and analyze the biggest challenges and opportunities they are facing.”

The Global Grape Summit will conclude with The London Produce Show and Conference’s Opening Cocktail Reception, which all delegates will be able to attend. The next day will include the Thought Leader Breakfast Panel session, a full-day trade exhibition, and optional seminars, sold at an additional fee. On the final day, there will be a series of optional industry tours.
