Tom Byrne steps up as new President & CEO at Titan Frozen Fruit

Through a press release published this week, California-based food ingredient manufacturer and fruit processor Titan Frozen Fruit announced that President Tom Byrne will also be stepping up as Chief Executive Officer. He succeeds previous Titan CEO Jon Larsen, who will now serve as the Company's Chairman. 

"He's just the right person to lead Titan at this stage of its growth and development, and we look forward to our ongoing partnership," said Dan O'Connell, Founder and CEO of Vestar Capital Partners, parent company of Titan. The executive also thanked Larsen for his long-time leadership at the company: “We're excited that he will continue as Chairman and a major shareholder going forward."

Tom Byrne has a deep background in the fresh/frozen food manufacturing and packaging industries, with 30 years of experience leading transformational change across organizations, said the press release. 

"Titan has a world-class team and I'm honored to lead the company as we execute on our strategic plans," said Byrne. 

For his part, Larsen underlined his commitment to the company in this next chapter: "I remain passionate about Titan and the value we bring to customers, and I am excited to continue working closely with Tom and the Vestar team”.
