IBO launches BlueCareers, a LinkedIn-like platform for the blueberry industry

BlueCareers is the International Blueberry Organization's (IBO) new recruitment platform developed specifically for the global blueberry industry. Designed to connect employers with specialized professionals at every level of the value chain, the service is a centralized hub for career opportunities, job postings, resume submissions, and networking.

As the blueberry industry continues to expand worldwide, BlueCareers aims to facilitate growth and development by addressing one of the sector’s most pressing needs: attracting and retaining qualified talent.

Mario Steta, Chairman of the IBO, recently reflected on the challenges of structural labor scarcity facing the sector. He emphasized that workforce issues cannot be addressed individually but require collaboration and a broader strategic view. “Labor has two dimensions: the need for collective action, and the competitive advantage to be gained if managed well,” he wrote. “BlueCareers is designed to support both sides of this challenge.”

All employers and professionals within the industry can access the platform to post and browse job opportunities, submit resumes, and connect. IBO members benefit from preferential access and rates, reinforcing the organization’s commitment to delivering added value to its community.

With its global reach and tailored focus, BlueCareers represents a key milestone in the IBO’s mission to support the sustainable growth and professionalize the blueberry industry.
