Colombia Avocado Board launches “Avocados From Colombia” brand in the U.S.

The Colombia Avocado Board (CAB) has introduced the “Avocados From Colombia” brand to the U.S. market, aiming to bolster brand recognition and consumer engagement. 

The rollout coincides with a record-breaking export volume, as Colombian avocado shipments to the U.S. reached 85 million pounds in the first half of 2025, more than doubling the 41 million pounds exported during the same period in 2024.

The new branding includes a refreshed website, updated trade show materials, and expanded educational and promotional resources. Visual elements feature vibrant colors and imagery of Colombia’s natural landscape that emphasize the environmental factors supporting avocado growth, the board said in a release.

Manuel Michel, Managing Director of CAB, stated, “The Avocados From Colombia brand marks an exciting new chapter in the growth of our industry and serves as a springboard for introducing new tools and resources to continue educating and promoting our beloved superfruit.” 

He added, “We are proud to lead a brand that reflects consistent year-over-year growth and ongoing investments in economic opportunity and community development. Looking ahead, we anticipate Avocados From Colombia will have an even greater presence in the U.S. market, supported by an expanded promotional footprint.”
