ASTRA just announced the release of its new industrial pineapple peeler, the FAP-3000. Capable of handling 500 fruits per hour, with industry-leading yield rates, the peeler promises rapid ROI and a new global standard for fruit processing.

The FAP-3000 industrial peeler streamlines this process. It peels each pineapple in just seven seconds, achieving up to 500 fruits per hour. Its yield rates reach 60% without coring and 53% with coring, significantly reducing waste while maintaining consistency.

Designed with productivity and safety in mind, the FAP-3000 includes enhanced safety guards and an easy-to-wash structure for simplified maintenance. Daily cleaning and upkeep are quick, ensuring reliability in demanding production environments.

Customer trials in Japan have confirmed its economic impact: at a large pineapple processing facility, the machine’s efficiency shortened payback to just 2.5–3 months. With labor savings of up to two-thirds and consistent product quality, processors gain both cost reduction and reliability.
