Fresh peaches sold at Kroger and Trader Joe's recalled over Listeria risk

Two types of fresh peaches sold by Moonlight Companies have been recalled due to a risk of Listeria monocytogenes, according to the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

The federal agency issued the notice on October 30, and to date, no cases of infection linked to the detection at a packing facility have been reported.

The company voluntarily removed fresh white and yellow peaches from stores nationwide. The product was marketed at retailers such as Kroger and Trader Joe's, between September 16 and October 29, 2025.

The fruit was sold both individually and in multi-packs under the Kroger or Peppermint Peach brands. Individual peaches affected by the recall should wear stickers with PLU numbers 4401 and 4044.
