DiPiazza named new Sun Pacific Marketing president
Former Produce Marketing Association (PMA) chairman Robert DiPiazza has been named the new president of Sun Pacific Marketing.
DiPiazza has spent the last four years managing the company's product development, marketing and business development as an independent consultant.
A company release said the new president would work closely with farming and packing operations, while leading Sun Pacific's sales and marketing organization. He will report to Sun Pacific Companies director Barney Evans.
"Bob has been instrumental in growing our business over the last 4 years and has brought a keen understanding of consumers and retail operations to our organization," says Evans.
"We have asked Bob to organize and position our organization for accelerated growth in the years to come.
"His exceptional industry perspective and global business experience in marketing, consulting and customer management will be a valuable asset to us as well."
DiPiazza, who owns DiPiazza Consulting Services, is also a former Dominick's and Sam's Club/Walmart senior officer.
