Chicago-based JBT Corporation will have a new prototype of its Fresh'n Squeeze juice extractor on display at industry event Fruit Logistica in Berlin, set to take place on Feb. 3-5.

In a release, the company said the new model had been designed to produce up to 100 liters of high-grade fruit juice per hour, complementing a range globally recognized as delivering the highest yielding juice currently available for the foodservice sector.

"We are proud of the Fresh'n Squeeze range because of the superior yield and quality of the juice produced compared with other machines on the market," JBT business development manager John Siddle said in a release.

"The superior extraction technology has been repackaged in a sleek new design for storefront and supermarket display and use. It was always functional, but now it is updated and attractive.

"Our superior technology, innovation, service, and global reach makes JBT the most valued supplier for fresh produce and juice solutions."

On show will also be JBT's FTE-CE cold extraction system, focusing on application for vegetables.

"JBT will be pointing out the flexibility of the system and its ability to deliver high extraction efficiency for a premium quality end product," the company's head of EMENA (Europe, Middle East and North Africa) operations Christian Gelati said in the release.

Gelati said JBT would also showcase the ability of the company's new Extended Shelf Life and Pulsed Electric Field technologies to add value to processed vegetables.
