Peru’s grape industry continues to reinforce its position as the world’s leading exporter, with the 2025/26 season delivering another record campaign. According to Provid, Peru exported 86.4 million boxes during the season, representing a four percent increase from the previous campaign and a 37 percent increase from 2023/24.

Global trade data also show Peru’s export volumes rising from roughly 300 thousand metric tonnes in 2015/16 to nearly 700 thousand metric tonnes in 2024/25. The United States remains Peru’s primary destination, while exports to Mexico, the Netherlands, the United Kingdom, and Spain continue to reinforce the country’s diversified international presence.

At the same time, exporters continue navigating climate variability, logistical pressures, and increasing competition across international markets.
