Peru’s PROVID projects a 4 percent table grape volume increase
The Peruvian Table Grape Producers Association (PROVID) just posted its 2025-26 estimate, projecting an estimated volume of 86.1 million 8.2 kg. boxes to be produced. The forecast represents a four percent uptick in production volumes.
In a LinkedIn post, the group stated that production began earlier in the top-growing regions of the country, with the North, specifically Piura, seeing a two percent volume increase. The southern production, namely Ica, is seeing a six percent uptick.
The 2024-25 season brought excellent figures for the Andean country, exporting over $2 billion worth of table grapes.
The 2025-26 campaign, set to begin in October, is also expected to see a nine percent rise in FOB value, according to intelligence data firm Fresh Fruit Peru’s latest market report.
Peru currently exports table grapes to over 40 countries, with the U.S., the European Union, and China as top importers.
