On August 12, the Global Grape Convention 2026 will once again be the meeting ground for the global industry, bringing producers, exporters, importers, retailers, suppliers, and specialists to Santiago, Chile, to analyze the future of the sector.
Organized by Yentzen Group, the Grape Committee of Frutas de Chile, the Association of Table Grape Producers of Peru (PROVID), Mexico Table Grapes, and Global Grape Group, the event returns following a successful first edition in 2024, which brought together over 1,000 attendees and 60 sponsors.
Today, the market is a $9 billion-a-year business undergoing a crucial transformation driven by varietal change, the evolution of retail, climate change, shifting consumer preferences, and fierce competition.

"The event has consolidated itself as a key space for the industry worldwide. Bringing together relevant sector players allows us to address the challenge of boosting global demand together," said Álvaro Aspée, Executive Director of the Grape Committee of Frutas de Chile.
The executive noted that this second edition reaffirms the Global Grape Group’s commitment to strengthening consumption and generating value for the entire production chain.
In a one-day event, industry experts will address the issues that are currently redefining the business: from destination markets and consumer behavior to trends in packaging, varietal evolution, commercial and marketing strategies, logistics, and sustainability. Additionally, the program includes networking spaces with buyers, distributors, exporters, retailers, and supplier companies.
Major global producers from Chile, Peru, and Mexico will bring together diverse perspectives on the category's evolution, reflecting on a scenario in which quality is no longer enough to stand out.

“For Mexico, this event is a strategic platform,” said Sergio Lugo, Director of México Table Grapes. “The participation of the main producing regions strengthens a joint vision to face common challenges and generate growth opportunities for the entire value chain.”
Luis Miguel Vegas, General Manager of PROVID, celebrates the event as a unique instance for collaboration and learning.
“Peruvian table grapes have gained presence in the most demanding markets in the world, but this growth increasingly demands more information and coordination. This growth requires a space like this, where supply and demand meet, understand each other, and jointly build the business of the future,” said the executive.
The event is designed to offer a comprehensive vision of the business from a future perspective, combining strategic insights, market analysis, trends, and key networking spaces for players and leaders across the sector.

“We believe that the industry needs its own platform where it can think big, beyond the season. A place where players from different countries and different links in the chain can meet, share what they are seeing in their markets, and build a stronger industry together. That is what we want this convention to be: an annual reference for the global category,” concludes Gustavo Yentzen, CEO of Yentzen Group.
