Yakima, WA - Domex Superfresh Growers® is ready to annually debut their signature apple, Autumn Glory®, at the PMA Fresh Summit this week. This is a crop that has been anticipated all year, and the flavor is phenomenal. Autumn Glory is known for its unique caramel and cinnamon notes and juicy crunch, a flavor and texture combination that world-wide consumers look forward to season after season.

The Superfresh Growers® booth will be joined by influencers Kelly Pfeiffer of Nosh and Nourish and Lindsey Johnson of Café Johnsonia. Each of them created recipes for Autumn Glory to show off the unique flavor characteristics of the apple. Friday, Superfresh Growers will be featuring Pfeiffer’s Autumn Glory Quesadilla and Autumn Glory Sangria. Saturday will be showcasing Johnson’s Baguette with Autumn Glory Chutney.

Kelly Pfeiffer, Cookbook Author and Blogger, was featured last week on Good Morning America for her lunchbox Instagram series that features healthy meals for kids filled with fruits and vegetables. She emphasizes that social media (for lunchboxes) is about community and camaraderie, and parents inspiring parents with fun, creative ways to feed their kids. Her current Instagram series, #NourishABC,features Superfresh Growers Organic Bosc pears for the letter S.

Autumn Glory apples will be sampled at the Superfresh Growers booth, #1373, on Friday and Saturday at PMA Fresh Summit. Autumn Glory apples are available world-wide and have become a nation-wide favorite. Sales growth has been exponential, with Autumn Glory breaking into the United States top 20 apple varieties in just its second significant year of volume. The 2018-2019 season will be the third year of significant volume, and Superfresh Growers is excited to see continued growth.
