Global fruit genetics specialist Sun World International is expanding its marketer and licensee network with new additions in Italy, Peru, and the United States.
In a press release, the company explained the move is part of a broader strategy to strengthen the global platform behind its branded table grape programs, including AUTUMNCRISP.
According to Sun World, the new licensees reflect a continued focus on building a strong partner network, with the right mix of commercial experience, regional strength, and supply chain reliability.
“As branded fruit continues to gain momentum, we’re dedicated to creating new opportunities with partners who understand execution, consistency, and the importance of protecting the consumer experience. That is what helps create lasting value across the supply chain,” said Pablo Ramirez, Vice President of Global Licensing at Sun World International.
The new licensees include:
The company’s strategy to expand its partner base responds to a broader shift in branded fruit, where market success depends on more than great genetics, requiring a connected system that can carry grapes from development to production, and to grocery shelves. In table grapes, especially, strong-branded programs are creating room for premium offerings that stand out in-market and build loyalty over time.

“We see a clear opportunity to keep growing the category in a way that benefits the full chain,” said Gerardo Lugo, Chief Commercial Officer at Sun World International. “We are investing in innovation, expanding thoughtfully across three continents and working with partners who share our commitment to excellence from development through delivery.”
This expansion of Sun World’s licensee program supports the company’s commitment to category innovation and development of the world’s leading branded produce portfolio.
As consumer demand increasingly favors products with a clear identity and a reliable eating experience, the firm continues to build the platform needed to scale premium brands across global markets.
